Marketing Manager - Content and Communications

We’re looking for an exceptionally driven Marketing Manager to develop, expand, converge and leverage DesignCrowd’s owned & earned media & assets, including social, PR, on-site content (blogs, articles, UGC), 3rd party content & sharing/virality. This critical role reports to DesignCrowd’s Head of Community, Content, Communications

The role
As Marketing Manager you will manage the day to day marketing activities of the organization for owned & earned media and long term marketing strategy for the Company in these areas. Within this wider context, you will have 3 main sub-areas of focus: PR, Social and Content.

Responsibilties
Content Responsibilities in general this role is responsible for all content creation.
Specific Content Responsibilities will include:
• Create weekly/monthly/quarterly content plans;
• Work with external agencies & resources;
• Edit, curate, enhance and condense existing & historical content;.
• Further create and distribute content on blog, email and other owned media;
• Manage and co-ordinate all 3rd parties & agency;
• Off-site blogging;
• Production of content assets;
• Develop and launch assets for customer lead generation campaigns;
• Drive sharing, dissemination, promotion and word of mouth of owned & earned media;
• Measurement and reporting of content initiatives (Google Analytics, other platforms, Excel) according to agreed KPI’s.
PR Responsibilities in general will be to support & drive superior performance and outcomes from our PR agencies and resources. Specific PR responsibilities include:
• Support Head of Communications;
• Resourcing business guest editorial program;
• Reporting: Drive customer registrations, sales, direct traffic as a result of this activity and report weekly and monthly on results versus targets. Using a variety of tools (Google Analytics, Excel);
• Management of the Press page on DesignCrowd site; and
• Working with executive team members on guest editorial creation and coordinating press release approvals and interviews as required.
Social Responsibilities in general you will be responsible for the ongoing management, growth, success, evolution and innovation of DesignCrowd’s owned Social Media and Social channels and content. This means measured and meaningful gains in social as indicated by successful achievement across a range of KPI targets, including (but not limited to) site traffic, customer registrations, conversions
Specific Social responsibilities will include:
• Innovate & ideate strong and impactful social content plans integrated across multiple channels and platforms driving high organic interaction and rapid audience growth;
• Plan, create and share social assets and ongoing content;
• Continually test, optimize and develop site content & assets to maximize social and platform visit conversion to registration & eventual sale;
• Work with PR agency and any other nominated agency/freelance/consultancy to deliver content plan, and execution for DC’s Facebook page;
• Manage and coordinate as required to drive best performance and output from 3rd parties including agencies;
• Set targets for Facebook activity for community and advertising initiatives;
• Converge & co-ordinate organic social campaigns with paid social campaigns to best business advantage;
• Optionally plan, manage , test, develop and rapidly grow DC paid Facebook campaigns.

Qualifications
• University degree required

• Demonstrated success as a Marketing Manager or owner of an audience or market with demonstrated growth and development

DesignCrowd is looking for expert Sales Representatives with strong experience either delivering sales from new customers or nurturing and account managing existing customers to grow sales and share of wallet. This role reports directly to DesignCrowd’s Global Business Development Manager (“BDM”).

The role
The function of Inside Sales Representative/Account Manager is to provide direct support to the BDM in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the Company is able to meet its growth targets.

Responsibilities
Inside sales involves the constant cycle of finding new clients and keeping your existing ones.
Main responsibilities for inside sales include:-
• Identifying prospective customer sources based on online & internal company research;
• Identify, prospect, call, email, qualify and sell DesignCrowd services to relevant companies/customers with no prior introduction;
• Placing calls to existing prospects to qualify leads for BDM;
• Placing calls to existing customers to identify and close opportunities for new sales;
• Receiving calls from new and existing customers and identify and close opportunities for new sales;
• Identify and activate clients who have registered with DesignCrowd, however have yet to launch projects;
• Identify larger opportunities within existing database for Director to follow up; and
• Proactively develop potential sales opportunities through outbound activities to past customers.
To keep your existing clients, you must develop a mutually beneficial relationship that’s based on trust and understanding. You accomplish this by assessing their current and future needs and by responding to them in a prompt, accurate and sincere manner.


Main responsibilities for account management include:-
• Support of project set up and general project management, including ongoing recommendations to drive incremental yield and revenue;
• Document and track all activity, develop reports, setting tasks for follow up activity and forecasting;
• Reporting on your weekly sales pipeline and prospecting activity; and
• Providing other account management support to existing customers

Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree or higher

Experience and Skills
• A minimum of 3 years prior experience in inside sales, outbound sales and account management;

The role
As Product Manager, you will be the interface between DesignCrowd’s users (customers and designers) and DesignCrowd’s Management, Marketing, Customer Service and Engineering teams. Within this context, you will have 5 main objectives:
1. Develop a deep understanding of DesignCrowd’s customers and designers needs and the needs of customers and designers in the global design industry;
2. Develop a deep understanding of DesignCrowd’s product, funnel, user experience and its strengths and weaknesses;
3. Identify, scope and prioritize product improvement and expansion opportunities that will grow revenue and/or improve profitability;
4. Identify, scope and prioritize product improvement opportunities that will deliver improved customer and designer experience, activity and/or satisfaction;
5. Help make DesignCrowd’s product the best it can be and the best design marketplace in the world.

In particular, your responsibilities will include:
• Defining and driving the product roadmap – working closely with the CEO to define the product vision and develop a forward plan for new product features / product releases.
• Identify, scope and work with engineering team to implement new product features or product changes on DesignCrowd to:
o Optimize pricing and average order value (AOV) - pricing, add-ons and upselling improvements, developing specifications and working with engineering to implement a/b tests and monitor the results.
o Optimize conversion rate - developing pricing, add-ons and upselling improvements, developing specifications and working with engineering to implement a/b tests and monitor the results.
o Optimize lifetime value (CLTV) – developing features and initiatives that encourage repeat purchasing.
o Optimize word-of-mouth (WOM) – developing features and initiatives that encourage word of mouth.
o Optimize designer activity – testing and optimizing product features to increase designer registrations, submissions and activity.
• Developing specifications for product improvements or features – working with the CEO, COO, CTO, CMO and other team members to define specific requirements for the Engineering team.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities for new segments, services or products outside of DesignCrowd / custom design.
• Customer insights and segmentation – collecting data from existing systems, customer feedback and primary research on customer needs, behaviours and demographics to build a detailed understanding of customer segments and inform both product and marketing decisions, monitoring / evaluating the customer experience with the product and providing feedback to the UI / UX /Engineering team.
• Competitor / market insights – gathering intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing and positioning.
• Supporting marketing effectiveness – providing feedback on existing marketing activities and initiatives to optimize performance, developing new ideas for marketing activities / campaigns.

Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree or higher

Experience and Skills
• Demonstrated success as a Product Manager;
• Strong analytical skills and aptitude with numbers;
• Experience working in online businesses, e-commerce, website and/or startups;
• Prior experience in the following areas is beneficial, though not specifically required:
o Primary / market research (e.g surveys, interviews, shadow shopping)

DesignCrowd is looking for an exceptional Data / Analytics Guru to deliver insights which drive revenue growth for our business. This role reports directly to DesignCrowd’s CEO.

The Role
At DesignCrowd, data is at the heart of every decision we make. As a Data / Analytics Lead, you will have four key objectives:
1. Deliver high-quality business and website analytics and reporting to the management and marketing teams – both regular and ad-hoc;
2. Drive projects to improve data, analytics and reporting infrastructure – such as upgrading DesignCrowd’s management information systems; and implementing real-time dashboards within the office;
3. Identify opportunities for conversion, revenue, profitability growth on the customer side of the marketplace; and
4. Identify opportunities for engagement, registration and improvements on the designer side of the marketplace.

In particular, your responsibilities will include:
• Website, conversion and community analytics – conversion rate and funnel analysis, database mining, community statistics;
• User analysis -
• Management reporting – developing new reports for channel economics, country sales, average order value, conversion rate, order funnel performance, partnership performance, refund rate and designer activity;
• Board reporting – completing regular and ad-hoc analysis to support monthly board reporting;
• Issue identification and analysis – monitoring KPI dashboards, identifying issues and analyzing root causes;
• Working with the technology team to improve / upgrade the quality and availability of key business performance data.

Your key performance metrics for the role will include:
• Accuracy and timeliness of reporting;
• Quality and depth of reporting and business insights;

DesignCrowd is preparing to scale internationally and is recruiting a user interface specialist who is capable of designing and implementing front-end facets of upcoming marketplaces.

Responsibilities
• Design and implement pixel-perfect front-end features into the existing site using a combination of HTML, SASS, JavaScript and (sometimes) Photoshop.
• Solve design problems quickly and think on your feet in a busy start-up environment
• Develop and maintain SASS style guides and brand guidelines.
• Convert PSD designs into functional pages across the site.

You will have responsibility for handling inbound queries about our products and services, working with clients to get the best results on their projects and engaging with designers to assist them in using the DesignCrowd marketplace. In addition to these core activities, a portion of your time will be spent developing and executing initiatives to improve our business.

The role requires that you’re willing to work an offset week (Wednesday through Sunday) based in our brand new Manila offices.
